Motorcycle riding has become a hobby realized after I bought my Ninja 250r SE in 2013. Through riding, I have met new friends with different types of characters and background which I call them Bros or Sister. Some are joker, some serious, some are hardcore motorbike enthusiast. It is a whole new experience with whole new package as a rider. If you are not a rider and love motorcycle, you might want to start this hobby. <br />
<br />
This will be a short post as I have not been posting for a while and will continue posting after this.<br />
<br />Here 2 pictures of our riding and will post more soon. <br />

We start of going for prawning. I am not sure the correct terminology to use, either prawning or fishing for prawn?<br /><br />We went to Sadaong Jaya, a small town about 1 hour 20 minutes drive from Kuching city in Sarawak, Malaysia.<br /><br />The river is actually very near to the estuary thus it is a bit salty. Accoding to my friend Teo, the prawn here is the best among all the prawn that he has eaten. As for me, prawning is a way of relaxing.<br /><br />The river that we done our fishing for prawn.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5452816306762896210" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S6xLim4PU1I/AAAAAAAAApU/xjsvO-sqoHE/s320/adv5.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br />The prawn that was hooked up on line and hook. It promoted the festive season mood in Malaysia.<br /><br /><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5444642626630032370" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S49Bnzk7m_I/AAAAAAAAAnM/8GcPuJBQT5w/s320/adv3.JPG" border="0" /><br />A beautiful stage with the dragon on the side.<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5444642617635048706" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S49BnSEXDQI/AAAAAAAAAnE/k86fyBEXupA/s320/adv2.JPG" border="0" /><br />The beautiful lighted flower displayed. </p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5444642609416723826" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S49Bmzc9XXI/AAAAAAAAAm8/3-TZve09tlc/s320/adv.JPG" border="0" /><br />The spectacular performance of the lion dance troops, accompanied by the music from the drum and cymbal. It is a celebration that all are looking forward to where new year means new opportunity. A Happy and Prosperous New Year To all. Compared to the early 80's, most of the baby boomer generation will remember that it time for good food, new attire, 'ang pau' (red packet) and family gathering and fire crackers.<br /><br />The symbol of luck and prosperity have been pass down from generation to generation. The only difference it is the type of symbol. <br /><br />One of the symbol of properity is fish. The 'Flower horn' fish which many have rear in their aquarium at home. <a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S2qQKqkx5rI/AAAAAAAAAm0/T-KT1D-FGmE/s1600-h/a.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5434314413277570738" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S2qQKqkx5rI/AAAAAAAAAm0/T-KT1D-FGmE/s320/a.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />Chinese New Year is a gathering of family and diner on the 30th night of the chinese calender. The picture below is not the 'flower horn' fish from above but a fish from the local restaurant. For most of chinese people believes that we should eat a fish with it head and tail attached. It symbolise that fish in chinese language means that luck or prosperity. A fish dish with the head and tail attached mean that if we do task we must have a starting point and end it accordingly.<br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S2qQKPkj4tI/AAAAAAAAAms/lg-wBCMe4gA/s1600-h/a3.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5434314406028894930" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S2qQKPkj4tI/AAAAAAAAAms/lg-wBCMe4gA/s320/a3.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />The symbol of oranges in golden colors means that prosperity will be bountiful.<br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S2qQJjlRSqI/AAAAAAAAAmk/I3IcPE4LPXE/s1600-h/a2.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5434314394220710562" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S2qQJjlRSqI/AAAAAAAAAmk/I3IcPE4LPXE/s320/a2.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />The symbol of the 'leak vegetable' means we can count the countless of prosperities in the years to come.<br /><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S2qQJAK0dSI/AAAAAAAAAmc/XoocQ7Izavc/s1600-h/a1.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5434314384714528034" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S2qQJAK0dSI/AAAAAAAAAmc/XoocQ7Izavc/s320/a1.JPG" border="0" /></a> Happy Chinese New Year and May All have a great and prosperous year a head. </div></div></div>journey adventurehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17541486132226021765noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35230692263490985.post-79434179054693416722010-01-31T20:58:00.000-08:002010-02-02T16:32:22.482-08:00Costume Party: You Are a Star<span style="color:#3333ff;">YOU ARE A STAR.</span><br /><div></div><div>It is always a pleasure working with new organization. Well, during our trip back from KK, we transit in Mulu. Thus, was able to capture some pictures.<br /><br />The winding rivers in Sarawak from the air before we reach Mulu. Sarawak have a lot of rivers. Thus, most of the transportation at the olden days was by river. We have the express boat which looks like the bullet train. If you never ride on one, you should try. <br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S0mKFDYq1qI/AAAAAAAAAlQ/SCmTs46OTi0/s1600-h/b3.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5425019045557229218" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S0mKFDYq1qI/AAAAAAAAAlQ/SCmTs46OTi0/s320/b3.JPG" /></a> A view from the Mulu airport. I will definately going to.<br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S0mKE9f60LI/AAAAAAAAAlI/YBN1fevRWRw/s1600-h/b2.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5425019043977023666" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S0mKE9f60LI/AAAAAAAAAlI/YBN1fevRWRw/s320/b2.JPG" /></a> A view from the waiting lounge at the Mulu airport. As a modern city, its have all the facilities for tourists and visitors to enjoy. One of the reason that we love Sabah is the nature and the modern facilities. It is easy to get around. We were staying at Hotel ShangriLa Perbandaran and is not that expensive (less than RM 200 per night).<br /><br />At the waterfront, a leisure place to be, sitting enjoying the view of the waterfront, beautiful people around, and sipping away coffee or for me beer.<br /><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S0mEVw355NI/AAAAAAAAAkw/zqX7vdWkd1g/s1600-h/a3.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5425012735575975122" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S0mEVw355NI/AAAAAAAAAkw/zqX7vdWkd1g/s320/a3.JPG" /></a> We were having drinks and watching the beautiful sunset.<br /><br /><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5425012721683220274" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S0mEU9HnRzI/AAAAAAAAAkY/LjVJftUw9AE/s320/a.JPG" /></div><div></div><div>The next day, we spend most of the day at Sapi and Manukan Island. Beautiful Island as we snorkel and swim with the fishes. Wish that i can do fishing of the coast of Sabah. My next post will include some pictures of fishes. The duration of the boat ride is 20 minutes to Manukan Island. A view from the speed boat as we leave, KK city.</div><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5425012730199039810" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/S0mEVc18X0I/AAAAAAAAAkg/ga6UaPB21pQ/s320/a1.JPG" /></div><div></div><div>A view of the jetty in Manukan Island. That day, about few hundred of Korean visited the Island. From Manukan Island, we hop into the speed boat to the Sapi Island. We bought two island trip. I am always looking for interesting attraction any where i go. It help me keeping nature tourism in perspective. Hopefully, with those interesting things that i found will help in the nature tourism of Sarawak.<br /><br />The oil palm plantation is about 2.5 years old. It just started with the planting of seedlings. From Bintulu airport, it took me about 1.30 hours to reach the plantation estate.<br /><br />One of the morning in the estate, we found a beautiful moth. I wonder what is the scientific name. Usually in the olden days, if moth or insect come into the house, it mean that you will have visitor(s) soon.<br /><br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/SzGed7bnxwI/AAAAAAAAAjQ/8A4HoYTNdbw/s1600-h/adv4.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5418286063710357250" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/SzGed7bnxwI/AAAAAAAAAjQ/8A4HoYTNdbw/s320/adv4.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />A beautiful mountain infront of the Plantation office.<br /><div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/SzGedrl686I/AAAAAAAAAjI/LRG2CW694-A/s1600-h/adv3.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5418286059458589602" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_7OWSm0Uj0wk/SzGedrl686I/AAAAAAAAAjI/LRG2CW694-A/s320/adv3.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />A grass hooper.
